MARION MARKHAM is thrilled to return to SLAC! Previously, she appeared with Mr. Duval as the bedridden Marcie in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center of New York City.  She was seen as Mme. Dindon in La Cage Au Folles at Pioneer Theatre.  She has appeared Off Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop, The Public Theatre, Theatre 1010 and The Hudson Guild. She played Maria in the International Tour of West Side Story. For The Colonial Theatre, Marion has played several of Shakespeare’s Ladies (and men) including Gertrude, Beatrice, Portia, Adriana, Puck, Kate, Lady Macduff, Quince and Juliet’s Nurse. Favorite regional roles include Mrs. Medlock in The Secret Garden (TheatreZone), Mama in Indian Joe (Goodspeed), Smitty in How To Succeed (American Musical Theatre), Ma Bailey in It’s A Wonderful Life (Ocean State Theatre), Rose in Dancing At Lughnasa (Ivoryton Playhouse) and Peter in Peter Pan (Fulton Opera House, Gateway Playhouse.)
