Julie Jensen play in Kennedy Center reading
Salt Lake Acting Company Resident Playwright Julie Jensen will develop new play at Kennedy Center reading.
Julie Jensen, Resident Playwright at Salt Lake Acting Company, will be developing her new play, She Was My Brother, at Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Jensen's play is a part of the Page-to-Stage New Play Festival which will feature staged readings of eight new plays from all over the country. The readings, offered over the Labor Day weekend, will feature DC actors and Salt Lake Acting Company staff. David Mong, Literary Manager at SLAC, will direct the reading, and Mike Dorrell SLAC Dramaturg will dramaturg the project.
